A Handle 3 Way Ball Valve Flanged End is a handle-operated ball valve with three ports, designed to divert, mix, or distribute flow between multiple lines using a single valve body. Available made from bar stock, sand casting, or investment casting in materials like cast iron, cast steel, MS, SS 304, SS 316, and SS 316L, built to ASME B16.5 flanged standards. Suited for process lines requiring flow diversion, mixing, or distribution through a single valve, such as bypass systems, blending operations, tank switching, and multi-directional flow control in chemical, water treatment, and general process piping applications.
The three-way ball, housed within the valve body, rotates on the stem when the handle is turned, directing flow between the connected ports. With an L-port ball, flow can be switched between two of the three ports at a time, ideal for diverting applications. With a T-port ball, flow can be directed to two ports simultaneously or mixed from two inlets into one outlet, making it suitable for mixing and distribution duties. A quarter-turn or multi-position handle movement changes the flow path without needing additional valves in the line.
